SCADaddle 5K

9:00 am
Danada Forest Preserve, 3S580 Naperville Rd, Wheaton, IL

Join us raise money for research on Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD). SCAD is a type of heart attack and sometimes death not associated with the typical risk factors of heart disease.

Unlike the typical heart attack most people are familiar with, SCAD is relatively uncommon and often impacts younger, otherwise healthy individuals. SCAD occurs more often in women than men.  Research is needed to identify the cause(s) and the best treatment options.

The chip-timed 5K trail run/walk will take place on a USATF certified crushed limestone course at beautiful Danada Forest Preserve located in Wheaton, IL.  The course winds through the preserve's beautiful landscape.  Last year's participants came from across the US, Canada and Sweden.

During registration, please consider forming a team and/or creating a personal fundraising webpage with a fundraising goal. You can send the link to your personal fundraising page and ask your family, friends, and co-workers to donate money towards your goal.  They can also post a message of encouragement.
